Is it safe to accept the update that opens on starting the program for the first time, or will it unregister the product

seeing as the terms and conditions say there are no updates included with this giveaway?

I do not think updating will unregister the product. Even though GOTD states there are no updates, Bandicam which was released a few weeks back could be updated and it did not get unregistered when i updated it. Be careful anyway.
